US Consulate Delegation Briefed on Human Rights Experience at Dubai Police

 

 

This came during the delegation?s visit to the General Department of Human Rights (GDHR) at Dubai Police. The delegation comprised of Beth Smith, General Manager of the Political-Economic Bureau, Bassma Dalla, Senior Consultant for the Diplomatic and Economic Affairs, and Frederick Fouchi, Political Affairs Officer.

During the visit, Brigadier General Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al Murr, General Director of the GDHR, stressed the importance of these meetings as they raise the level of cooperation in a manner that helps achieve the sought after goals.

For his part, Colonel Dr. Sultan Abdul Hameed Al Jammal, Manager of the GDHR?s Human Trafficking Control Centre, highlighted the goals of the center, saying that since its establishment in February 2009, the Center managed to launch a large number of initiatives and events which have played a significant role in minimizing trafficking crimes nationwide
