UAE takes part in Doha Forum for Combating Human Trafficking

The Head of Delegation submitted a work paper entitled ?The Role of Governmental Entities in implementing the Arabic Initiative?. In the paper, Al-Ghafli illustrated the importance of the Arabic initiative in unifying and streamlining the regional and international efforts to combat human trafficking, which emerged recently as one of the major challenges against humanity. Following the Forum objectives, and the ideas, trends, and views exchanged in it, a set of recommendations was issued, the most important of which was to stress that human trafficking is a severe violation against basic human rights and freedom and confronts all religious ethics and values and international laws.
