UAE celebrates the first Emirati Children’s Day

 

The move aims to emphasise the UAE?s vision and its concern to nurture future generations and overcome all difficulties that prevent their development and having proper education that qualify them to be good and effective members of society. It also comes in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and the UAE Centennial Plan 2071.

The Emirati Children?s Day was approved by the Ministerial Development Council during its meeting held on Sunday at Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace under the chairmanship of Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The Emirati Children?s Day is an initiative launched by Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women?s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, as part of the national strategy for motherhood and childhood and the strategic plan for boosting the rights and development of children with disabilities 2017-2021.
