The meeting witnessed a detailed explanation of the national strategy, action plan and legal frameworks of the committee to combat human trafficking. It also addressed the rules and procedures of the Committee’s work beside the international coordination efforts with various local, regional and international organizations.

The meeting also presented the UAE strategy to combat human trafficking which is based on Five Ps’ – Prevention, Prosecution, Punishment, Protection and Promotion (of international cooperation). Emphasis was also placed on the achievements and successes of the UAE in the field of combating human trafficking crimes
