The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior ? involved exchange of expertise in identifying victims of human trafficking, optimum practices and future challenges that the UAE encounters when combatting these crimes.

Colonel bin Muhairoum stressed the Ministry?s keenness to promote international cooperation and coordination with international governmental and nongovernmental organizations to help put an end to human trafficking crimes and support victims.

He added that the Ministry exerts constant efforts to combat these crimes, and that such efforts are appreciated and praised by the international community and human rights organizations, noting that the Ministry has already launched several anti-human trafficking initiatives.
