Dubai Police receives Moroccan Delegation

 

The delegation was received by Dr. Brigadier Muhammad Almur, Director of Human Rights at Dubai Police, who stressed that the department?s doors are always open to all who wants to benefit from its experience in combating human trafficking and violence against women and children.

Brigadier Almur noted that the force is keen to strengthen cooperation with various concerned bodies regional and internationally.

The delegation visited the ‘Child Protection Oasis’, that provides a friendly security environment for abused children, promotes child confidence on the police, and provides human resources to handle children with high professionalism.

They were also briefed on Human Trafficking Crime Control Centre, HTCCC, which was established in 2009, and the human trafficking diploma programme, which is considered as the first of its kind at the Arab and local level.

The visiting delegation praised the Dubai Police?s distinguished facilities and the excellent services it provides to victims of violence and human trafficking, stressing that it is an excellent role model among its counterparts.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to a number of prominent facilities and services provided by Dubai Police.

The Moroccan delegation included Amina Afroukhi, Head of the Public Prosecution and Judicial Cooperation in the Kingdom of Morocco, and 11 representing members of Public Prosecutor Offices and courts. /WAM
